Melabelle

On thursday I got invited to the Melabelle bloggers event to have a look at their new summer collection.  Which has been called 'I do like to be beside the seaside.' It's lovely to be able to attend an event put on by an independent brand as I was able to talk to the designer Bella Cager about her collections. The event was held in their latest pop up store in Boxpark, I haven't previously heard about Boxpark. But has a really unique concept and is the worlds first pop up mall. Which includes a range of new urban brands and places to eat. If you haven't been before I would highly recommend going its about a 10 minute walk from Liverpool Street station.

I was talking to Belle the designer and she was telling me how prints are a key feature within the brand to create something that is unique for the customer. The new collection features a range of seaside inspired colours. Tones which are easy to wear and reflect the summer mouths.  The shapes & styles have been designed in a simple way which customers can easily wear.

Do you like the brand Melabelle? You can go and check out their latest collection here

Hope you enjoyed this post

Afternoon Walk In London

On thursday I went to london for a bloggers event. And I will have a post all about that tomorrow. Before the event I had a nice afternoon walk around london and thought it would be a good opportunity to take some pictures and share with you my outfit.

Dress - Zara
Jacket - Topshop
Shoes - Topshop
Bag - River Island

The dress I wore is a new one that I picked up from Zara last weekend in their TRF range, I love their new summer collections from this range and some of the items are so reasonably priced as well. They also have this dress in a Fuchsia colour on their website. You can't see clearly from my pictures but it has a really pretty Jacquard texture to it. I add my new topshop shoes to the outfit and a couple of my wardrobe staple items including my Topshop leather style jacket and my River Island bag.

Today I'm off to London again for dinner with a friend in Southbanks. Hope you are all enjoying your weekend.

Chelsea Market

I love posting fashion/style posts over on my blog but I want to start adding some more lifestyle posts of things that I get up to on days out. I take my camera with me wherever I go and really enjoy photography so thought it would be fun to add things like this my blog.  On saturday I went to Chelsea food market with my mum & nan and  it so nice to do something different. The market was great and I would recommend going if you are around the chelsea area. We had lunch there are the food was fantastic all freshly made I had a duck sandwich & a cupcake for desert! We then we went shopping around the King's Road and Oxford Street after and I brought some need goodies including a Zara dress and some Topshop shoes which I will be showing on my blog soon.

Hope you enjoyed this post, something a little different from usual.
Have you ever been to chelsea food market? Where do you like to visit in London?

Neon Pink

Blazer - Topshop
Dress - H&M
Bag - River Island

These pictures were taken yesterday by my lovely friend Kat, we went to London for the day fabric shopping as she is making her own prom dress! I can't wait to see it once it's finished. After we went to the fabric shops we headed to Carnaby Street for some lunch and found a lovely little cafe in one of the back streets. The outfit I wore features my new favourite neon pink blazer. I've worn it a couple of times styling it in different ways and have another outfit post lined up where I styled it with disco pants. Yesterday I teamed it with my little black dress from H&M, I completely forgot I had this until the other day. I also took out my River Island bag which I seem to take everywhere. It's perfect as the colour goes with so many outfits.

Do you like going to Carnaby Street? Are you enjoying the bright neon colours this season?

Spring Flowers

Top - Topshop
Disco Pants - American Apparel
Shoes - Toms

Well I'm so glad it's the weekend! I've had such a busy week with three exams but only have one more left now then off on a weeks holiday with the girls which I'm too excited about right now.  So this outfit includes one of my item's in my recent haul post! I love how the top has the dip hem effect, I teamed it with my disco pants as I'm loving black & white at the moment. I've also started wearing my Toms again this week, they are my favourite shoes to wear in the summer. And buying them knowing they have a one for one policy makes it all worth while. Today I went to Chelsea food market & for a shop around King's Road as well as Oxford street which was lovely I'll be uploaded a post on that tomorrow :)

Hope you all have a fab weekend, what are your plans? Do you have a pair of Toms?

Summer Haul

Necklace - Topshop
Blazer - Topshop
Top - Topshop
Cardigan - H&M

I don't tend to do hauls posts on my blog, but recently I've been loving reading/watching hauls as I love to know what people have brought & whats new in the shops. It was fun creating this post so I'm definitely going to make the effort to do more hauls.
Summer has to be my favourite time of the year for fashion so it's always nice to add things to my wardrobe. The first thing I brought was the cute flower style statement necklace. I'm loving classic/simple monochrome outfits at the moment and I think a statement necklace is perfect added to this. As you can probably tell I've gone a bit neon pink crazy!!! But sometimes its nice to wear a simple outfit with a bright pop of colour to make it fun to wear.  I got the blazer from Topshop which I'm planning on wearing with a white tee, AA disco pants & boots that can take you from day to night by just changing the footwear to wedges. And the cardigan is from H&M and was really cheap at about £7.99. I also picked up the white top from Topshop and love it, I only picked it up last week but have worn it a few times already. It looks really smart  and I love how they have taken a simple design yet still made it fun to wear.

Have you brought many items from summer? Please add links to any of your haul posts, would love to see them!

The Summer Dress

Untitled #30

1. Coast 2. Ted Backer 3. Ted Backer

I've come up with three dresses that I think would be perfect for a summer occasions.

I love the colours on the first dress and the skirt looks great with the flower style shapes at the bottom. Adding more texture and volume to the dress. It's hard to see from the picture but the top section has pleats in it, which adds a lovely finishing touch. The red dress is just beautiful. I've seen this online but not in any stores yet which is annoying as I really want to try it on! Again this dress has lovely flower style shapes added to it and I'm loving this whole 3D applique shapes trend. The finial dress has to be one of my favourites, I think the print is really cool with an urban edge to it. I love how the individual taxi's are different colours and has the whole london theme included in to it. Although I'm not quite sure where I would wear this dress to!

Hope you enjoyed this post today.
Which dress is your favourite?

(I couldn't find the links of Ted Backer dresses online, but did see the taxi one in different stores last week so think it may still be available.)
